who i am

I’ve always loved clothes. I taught myself early on how to scout the racks for scores that not only made me stand out in the school hallway, but also helped me learn how to develop a well-defined personal style. Dreams of working in fashion drove me to the University of Cincinnati's School of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning, where I earned a BA in Fashion Design. And while I waffled between a burning desire to design costumes for sci-fi films* and a more practical aspiration of working as a designer for a well-known brand, I ended up in an entirely different career (like most college graduates!). 15 Years spent working in consumer insights, studying people’s personal habits and preferences as a profession, has allowed me to hone my observation and listening skills, and learn how to determine just the right questions to ask in order to uncover each clients' unique style challenges. 

Around the 12 year mark, I was feeling that old fashion passion emerge again. I’d spend my free time hunting down high design at reasonable prices, and my own wardrobe and closet set-up began to capture the positive attention of friends and colleagues; I increasingly found myself styling them in dressing rooms, organizing their closets, and sharing links to purchase budget-friendly items they struggled to find on their own.

With such clear demand for my help, it became obvious that the wardrobe struggles I was witnessing were all too common. I left the agency world to start my own styling business through which I bring together my lifelong passion for clothing, my knowledge of garment construction and proper fit, my love of organizing, and my unique ability to understand people’s wants and needs to help them look and feel like their best selves.
